Italian actor Saul Nanni was the guest of honor at the 27th ShorTS International Film Festival in Trieste, where he received the 2026 Prospettiva Award, an annual recognition celebrating emerging talent in Italian cinema. During the festival, held from June 26 to July 4, Nanni also led a public masterclass at Teatro Miela, reflecting on his career from Brado to Supersex and The Leopard. Speaking with InTrieste, Nanni shared his first impressions of Trieste, describing its multicultural atmosphere as distinctive, and said he remains open to smaller, character-driven productions when a compelling story offers the right creative challenge.
