A series of four concerts featuring emerging musicians from across Europe will conclude the “United Together: For a Europe of Good Friends” 2026 season, bringing chamber music, percussion, symphonic repertoire and a holiday performance to venues across Trieste between September and December.
Organized by the Scuola per Giovani Musicisti Europei (SGME) with support from the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the City of Trieste, the autumn program highlights young international performers and the European Spirit of Youth Orchestra network.
The season opens on Sept. 22 at Teatro Miela with Voyage d’un Musicien, a chamber concert by clarinetist Bogdan Sydorenko (France/Ukraine) and pianist Yun-Yang Lee (France/Taiwan).
On Oct. 14, percussionist and composer Lorenzo Dari, from Trieste, will present the solo recital Contrappunto di Tempi at Teatro Miela.
The third concert, Suoni dei Balcani, will take place on Nov. 9 at Sala Luttazzi in Porto Vecchio, featuring the Symphony Orchestra of the Davorin Jenko Music School of Belgrade, a partner of the European Spirit of Youth Orchestra project.
The series concludes on Dec. 10 at Palazzo Ferdinandeo with Buon Natale in Musica, performed by the ESYO string ensemble. The final concert will be held by invitation because of limited seating.
Admission is free for the first three performances.
