A new children’s travel guide featuring one of Italy’s most beloved cartoon characters is inviting young readers and their families to explore the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in a fun and interactive way.
Titled “Pimpa alla scoperta del Friuli Venezia Giulia” (Pimpa Discovers Friuli Venezia Giulia), the guide is part of a new series, Pimpa alla scoperta delle regioni d’Italia (Pimpa Discovers the Regions of Italy), published by Franco Cosimo Panini Editore in collaboration with PromoTurismoFVG.
The guide stars Pimpa, the iconic red-spotted dog created by illustrator Francesco Tullio-Altan, who leads children through key sites, cultural highlights, and local curiosities of the region. Designed to spark curiosity and learning through stories, games, and activities, the guide offers what Pimpa describes as “a trip around the world within a single region.”
The release marks the beginning of a new educational format in the popular Le guide di Pimpa series, which has long been a staple of Italian children’s literature.
The guide is available exclusively at PromoTurismoFVG infopoints and on friuliveneziagiuliashop.it, and will be released in bookstores across Italy starting August 1.
Press materials, including images and upcoming video content, can be accessed at the publisher’s official press folder.
