The beloved family theater series Miela Bimbi returns to Teatro Miela on Sunday, October 5, at 11 a.m. with Aahhmm… per mangiarti meglio! Un perfetto S-galateo a tavola (“Aahhmm… to Eat You Better! A Perfect Anti-Etiquette at the Table”), a lively and humorous exploration of dining behavior for children and adults alike.

Written and directed by Tiziano Manzini, the production features performances by Tiziano and Giulia Manzini, with recorded narration by Walter Maconi and costumes by Emanuela Palazzi. It is produced by Pandemonium Teatro, a Bergamo-based company known for its innovative family performances.

In an age of widespread nutritional campaigns teaching children what to eat, this production focuses on the often-overlooked question of how to eat. The play turns the family table—whether at home, in the school cafeteria, or at restaurants—into a stage for the daily dramas of mealtime. The audience will encounter a cast of familiar characters: the “I-don’t-like-it” shouters, chair rockers, utensil players, plate lickers, and impatient eaters.

Through a blend of comedy and real cooking moments, Aahhmm… per mangiarti meglio! examines the challenges faced by generations of parents and children navigating conflicting advice, good intentions, and emotional negotiations at the dinner table. The result is a lighthearted but insightful look at the rituals and missteps of modern mealtime etiquette.

The show is recommended for children ages five and up. As a post-performance treat, young attendees will be invited to share a Mielamerenda, a snack meant to foster connection and community among families.

Tickets are priced at €7, with season subscriptions for 14 performances available for €56. Tickets can be purchased at the Teatro Miela box office daily from 5 to 7 p.m. or online at www.vivaticket.com. For more information, call +39 040 3477672.
