Guided tours of the Risiera di San Sabba, Italy’s only former Nazi concentration and extermination camp on Italian soil, will continue throughout August, offering visitors an opportunity to explore one of the country’s most significant memorial sites.
The tours, led by specialized guides from the Risiera di San Sabba National Monument and Museum, will take place every Saturday in August — Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 — beginning at 5 p.m. Conducted in Italian, each visit lasts approximately one hour and traces the history and significance of the site through its preserved memorial spaces.
Admission costs €7 per person, with tickets available exclusively online while supplies last.
The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Trieste, the Risiera di San Sabba National Monument and Museum, and CoopCulture. Visitors can obtain additional information through the museum or its official website.
