On Sunday, September 28, the city of Trieste will host the final September installment of L’ora di storia (“The Hour of History”), an evening tour of San Giusto Castle. The event invites visitors to explore the historic fortress and its surroundings as the sun sets over the city.

The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Trieste, in collaboration with the Museo del Castello di San Giusto and Midnight–Bar Bastione, as part of the summer evening openings of the panoramic bar on the Bastione Rotondo.

The one-hour guided walk begins at 7 p.m. and is led by a museum specialist. Admission is free, though reservations are recommended.

After the tour, participants are encouraged to linger at the Bastione Rotondo, where sweeping views of Trieste and the Adriatic will be available until midnight, accompanied by drinks served at the bar.

Reservations can be made by emailing castellosangiusto@comune.trieste.it with name and surname. In the event of bad weather, the tour will be canceled.
