The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region has unveiled a co-designed, fully funded training programme developed in partnership with Costa Crociere under the Region’s “Recruiting Lab” framework. The initiative is aimed at unemployed individuals seeking onboard employment with the company.

A total of 57 positions are available across four professional profiles:

  • Guest Activities Host (15 positions)
  • Light, Sound and Video Technician (15 positions)
  • Photographer (15 positions)
  • Cruise Sales Consultant (12 positions)

The training courses are free of charge for participants and fully funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region through the PiAzZa-GOL Programme, supported by the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

Organised in collaboration with the accredited training body Enaip FVG, the courses range from 452 to 556 hours and include maritime navigation certification. Part of the training will take place at accredited facilities outside the region.

Since 2017, and through March 2026, a total of 469 individuals have participated in the “Recruiting Lab” programme. Among those who successfully complete both the selection and training phases, 97 percent go on to be hired by Costa Crociere.

Applications must be submitted by 18 May 2026 via the regional employment portal at offertelavoro.regione.fvg.it.
