Trieste opened its annual Maker Faire in Piazza Unità, transforming the city’s main square into a showcase of creativity and technology.
The event, organized by the City of Trieste and the International Center for Theoretical Physics, has brought together 450 makers from across Europe and beyond. From robotics and digital craft skills to interactive engineering projects, exhibitors presented ideas aimed at blending innovation with everyday life.
Inside wooden booths set up across the square, visitors of all ages explored displays ranging from playful machines to advanced technological prototypes, turning the waterfront piazza into an open-air laboratory of invention.
The fair continues through Sunday evening.
