In the seaside town of Muggia, just outside Trieste, Carnival has reached its grand finale. This Sunday, the 72nd annual parade took over the streets, with towering floats, thousands of masked revelers, and eight competing companies bringing satire, color, and spectacle to life. From children’s dances to roaming brass bands and late-night music in the piazzas, the celebration blended tradition with modern flair — all leading up to the highly anticipated procession through the historic center.
