The Castello di San Giusto will host the final weekend of its 2025 historical reenactment series, Le Stagioni delle Armi, on Saturday, Sept. 13, and Sunday, Sept. 14. This edition, titled Con la spada e il moschetto (“With the Sword and the Musket”), will focus on 17th-century combat and daily life.

The events are organized by Compagnia d’Arme Malleus, a group founded in 1996 that specializes in recreating dueling practices from 1470 to 1800. The company studies historical treatises and European fencing schools to provide an accurate depiction of both military techniques and civilian dueling customs, including period clothing and social etiquette.

Visitors will have access to educational stations throughout the castle’s opening hours. Guided tours, suitable for all ages, will depart at 10:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 5:30 p.m., with a maximum of 25 participants per group. Attendance is included in the regular castle admission of €7 for adults and €5 for reduced tickets.
