Poste Italiane will maintain full operational coverage across its network of 29 post offices throughout Trieste during the summer period, ensuring uninterrupted access to postal and financial services for city residents.
Throughout August, the main Trieste Centro office will operate according to its usual schedule from 8:20 a.m. to 7:05 p.m. However, from August 18 to 30, its hours will shift to 8:20 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. During this time, the branch on Via Marconi 8 will remain open in the afternoons to accommodate customer needs. The post office at Piazza Verdi 2 will be open from August 4 through August 14 from 8:20 a.m. to 1:35 p.m.
Several other locations — including Via Giulio Cesare 1, Viale Miramare 119, Via Raffaello Sanzio 30, Via Mauroner 2, and Via Pasteur 41/A — will close only on August 16. During that day, services will be available at the offices on Via D’Alviano 41/B and Via delle Settefontane 67. Notably, no post office in the city will undergo extended or consecutive closures throughout the summer.
To keep the public informed, Poste Italiane has placed notices in all branches detailing schedule changes and nearby open locations. Updates are also available on the official Poste Italiane website and mobile applications.
In addition, Trieste offers 18 Postamat ATMs operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These machines provide cash withdrawals as well as services such as bill payments, postal account transactions, mobile phone top-ups, PostePay card recharges, and account balance inquiries.
