This summer, San Giusto Castle, a historic landmark perched above the city, will transform into a vibrant cultural hotspot with its new event series, “Bastione Sunsets.” Running every Sunday from August 11 to September 1, 2024, this series offers locals and visitors alike an opportunity to experience evening aperitifs against the backdrop of stunning city views, accompanied by a dynamic range of musical performances.
Starting at 7 PM, attendees will be treated to a unique blend of live music and DJ sets while savoring an array of refreshments. The series kicks off on August 11 with the Glitch crew, a Trieste-based collective known for its eclectic mix of Afrohouse, bass club, and funky carioca rhythms. On August 18, the stage will be graced by “Duo Carbone,” a vocal and trombone duo offering a repertoire that spans bolero, reggae, ska, and timeless classics.
August 25 will feature the “Let’s Get in Touch” collective, bringing House Music, Nu Disco, and LoFi sounds to the forefront, with performances by Lumby and BTaste. The series concludes on September 1 with a special enogastronomic event, showcasing regional producers and winemakers, providing a taste of local flavors alongside the musical offerings.
