In Trieste, a significant event titled “Promoting Innovation in the Life Sciences: Friuli Venezia Giulia, the place to be,” unfolded on November 8th and 9th, 2023. It served as a platform to highlight the region’s aspirations for advancements in the Life Sciences sector.
Alessia Rosolen, the Research Assessor, articulated the vision of positioning Friuli Venezia Giulia as a hub for innovation in Life Sciences. The event underscored the region’s dedication to fostering progress in this field.
On January 31st, 2024, a notable development occurred with the announcement of a funding call. This initiative, offering €110,000, aimed to support innovative ideas from various enterprises, regardless of their size or location. Winners of this call would have the opportunity to further develop their ideas through a subsequent funding line, fostering collaboration with local entities.
The submission window for proposals was open from March 1st to April 30th, 2024. Managed by the Alto Adriatic Technological Pole and the Life Sciences Cluster, this initiative was poised to contribute to the region’s innovation landscape.
