Now that museums in Trieste began reopening following a three-month closure, after the FVG region was reclassified as a lower-risk ‘yellow zone’, there are no more excuses not to discover something new. For example, Sala Comunale d’Arte di Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia.

It often happens that we don’t notice the value of what’s right in front of us. This is often the case with Sala Comunale d’Arte di Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia, which many pass daily but rarely stop and walk in.

Each month a small but cozy space in Sala Comunale d’Arte hosts an exhibition by local artists. This month’s exhibit is called Abitare (to live) by Giorgio Schumann.

All exhibitions are free at the Sala Comunale. This exhibit is open from May 6-23 10 am – 1 pm; 5 pm- 8 pm.
