Italy celebrates Father’s Day a little differently—on March 19th, honoring Saint Joseph, the patron saint of fathers. Across the country, the day is as sweet as it is meaningful—and in Trieste, it’s all about irresistible cream-filled bignè and indulgent zeppole. We even hit the streets of the Friuli Venezia Giulia capital to see how locals are celebrating—and many were happily picking up their zeppole to enjoy at home.
