A new initiative aimed at connecting young job seekers with local businesses will take place next month in Pordenone. The event, called Recruiting Day Young, is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 13, at Pavilion 7 of the Pordenone Fair.
The event, promoted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional government in collaboration with the Municipality of Pordenone, Informagiovani, and Pordenone Fiere, is designed to give candidates under 35 a rapid, engaging way to meet potential employers. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in four five-minute interviews, allowing them to meet all participating companies in just 20 minutes.
“The goal is twofold: to provide young people with practical tools to approach the job market with greater confidence, and to offer businesses the chance to meet motivated candidates who can effectively communicate their skills,” said Alessia Rosolen, Regional Councillor for Labor, at the presentation of the event.
Participating companies include Eurospin, Fastweb+Vodafone, JD Sports, and Terranova, representing sectors ranging from retail and telecommunications to fashion and sportswear. These companies emphasize building young, dynamic teams with a forward-looking approach.
On the day before the event, Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m., an orientation session will be held to help participants prepare for the brief, fast-paced interviews.
