The summer cultural program Trieste Estate 2025 has announced a correction to the date of one of its anticipated performances. The concert originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 11, will instead take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 9 p.m., in Piazza Verdi, in the heart of the city.

Part of the “Il Suono di Trieste / The Sound of Trieste” series, the evening performance titled “La Musica Sussurra e Ci Svela la Vita” (“Music Whispers and Reveals Life to Us”) is a tribute to late Italian composer and conductor Ezio Bosso. The event blends Bosso’s compositions and writings with the poetry of Emily Dickinson, interpreted through music and contemporary dance.

Choreographer Ambra Cadelli of GeA Danza leads the artistic direction, with Giacomo Segulia as narrator and Anna Somma as lead dancer. The musical ensemble includes pianists Daniele Bonini and Dorian Dionisi, along with string and brass musicians performing Bosso’s original pieces.

The performance invites audiences to “follow the music” through the city’s imperial heritage, nestled between the sea and mountains. Admission is free, and the concert is part of a broader initiative to animate Trieste’s public spaces with cultural programming throughout the summer months.
