The Teatro Verdi has announced the postponement of the final scheduled performance of Tosca, originally set for July 4, due to adverse weather forecasts. The production, part of the summer open-air opera series, will instead take place on July 5.

The rescheduled performance marks the final showing of Giacomo Puccini’s classic opera in this year’s program. Ticket holders for the July 4 performance will be able to attend the July 5 event using the same ticket, the theater confirmed.

For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, Teatro Verdi is offering refunds upon presentation of the original ticket. Refunds can be requested at the theater’s box office until Wednesday, July 9.

The decision to postpone, while disappointing for some, reflects the theater’s commitment to audience safety and production quality amid unpredictable weather conditions.
