The 13th edition of Trieste Photo Days, the international photography festival, will take place from Oct. 22 to 26, bringing exhibitions, workshops and talks by international photographers to venues across the city.

The festival will feature more than 2,500 photographs, with works by Mark Power of Magnum Photos, photojournalist Christopher Morris, Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc and Italian documentary photographer Stefano Mirabella.

At Magazzino 26 in the Old Port, Power will present Good Morning, America, a long-term exploration of the United States’ physical and cultural landscape. Morris’s Power Structures examines how power is represented and exercised through images of conflict, politics and fashion, drawing on four decades of photojournalism.

Other exhibitions will explore women’s identities and representations of beauty, urban life, travel and climate change. Noroc’s The Atlas of Beauty, which portrays women from different cultures around the world, will be displayed at ITIS, while climate-focused projects will combine photography, scientific data and multimedia installations.

Exhibitions will be spread across several locations, including Museo Sartorio, Mercato Coperto, Sala Xenia and the Old Port, with additional displays in 30 selected businesses as part of the Trieste Photo Fringe program. Admission to the exhibitions will be free.

The festival’s main program will include the URBAN Photo Awards 2026 ceremony on Oct. 24, talks by Power and Morris on Oct. 25, portfolio reviews, masterclasses, workshops and guided exhibition visits.

Organized by the cultural associations dotART and Exhibit Around APS, together with social enterprise DOTLOGIC, the festival is co-organized by the Municipality of Trieste and supported by the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional government.
