Another Barcolana victory brought renewed excitement, but competing with two boats has increased the demands on the team, said Furio Benussi after Sunday’s race.
While the thrill of winning remains, each edition offers a different experience, providing the motivation to continue, the representative said. Despite concerns about the weather the previous day, Sunday brought conditions that allowed the regatta to proceed, drawing sailors to the Gulf of Trieste.
The representative also praised Marta 07, helmed by his daughter, for its contest with veteran sailor Mitja Kosmina. The close duel added to the competition on the water, he said, highlighting the range of encounters that form part of the Barcolana spectacle.
