The Club Club Amici della Topolino Trieste, a historic vehicle association affiliated with Automotoclub Storico Italiano(ASI), hosted the 35th edition of its Raduno per Auto Storiche (historic car rally) across Trieste from 8 to 10 May 2026. This year’s edition marked two important anniversaries: the 90th anniversary of the Fiat Topolino and the 60th anniversary of ASI.

On Saturday, 9 May, participating vehicles departed from Basovizza and crossed the Carso (the karst plateau northeast of Trieste) via Opicina before arriving at Porto Vecchio, where visits were scheduled to Magazzino 26, a repurposed 19th-century waterfront warehouse, and the Museo del Mare (Museum of the Sea).

On Sunday, 10 May, vintage cars were displayed in Piazza Ponterosso in the city centre, accompanied by guided tours and an awards ceremony held at noon. A fundraising initiative for ABC — the Associazione per i Bambini Chirurgici del Burlo (Association for Surgical Children of the Burlo paediatric hospital) — also took place on Sunday morning. The event concluded in the coastal district of Grignano with a formal lunch.

Founded in 1989, the Club Amici della Topolino Trieste is one of two ASI-affiliated associations in the province of Trieste, alongside Club “20 all’ora” (“20 kilometres per hour”).

One club member stated that the association aims to preserve knowledge of historically significant vehicles and promote the experience of driving classic cars. The only requirement for becoming a member is ownership of a vehicle classified as historically valuable.
