A minor earthquake was recorded at 12:31 p.m. near Valvasone Arzene in the province of Pordenone. The tremor, with a local magnitude of 2.3 (±0.3) on the Richter scale and a depth of 4 kilometers, was detected by the Seismological Research Center of the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS).

The quake was felt in several areas of central Friuli, though no damage to buildings or injuries were reported. Officials noted that the shallow depth of the earthquake’s focus made it more perceptible despite its relatively low magnitude. Authorities continue to monitor the situation.
