The 32nd masked parade of Trieste’s annual Carnival transformed the city center into a colorful tour of the world, with floats and costumes inspired by places and eras ranging from the American West to East Asia and South America.

The procession followed its traditional route from Piazza Oberdan to Piazza Unità d’Italia, where crowds gathered as music, dancing and elaborate displays filled the streets.
