The regional government of Friuli Venezia Giulia has announced a new recruiting initiative aimed at connecting young people with employers through a fast-paced, in-person hiring event scheduled for February 25, 2026.

The event, called Recruiting Day Young, is open to job seekers under the age of 35 and is part of Let’s Go! Job 2025–2026, a broader employment project within the Go!2025 program. It was presented this week in Gorizia by regional and local officials.

Alessia Rosolen, the regional councillor for labor and training, said the initiative reflects the region’s focus on employment policies that prioritize young people and women, with the goal of strengthening competitiveness and making Friuli Venezia Giulia more attractive to both talent and businesses.

Organized by the Region in collaboration with the Municipality of Gorizia and the local Informagiovani office, the event is designed to facilitate direct contact between candidates and companies using streamlined and interactive selection methods.

The recruiting day will take place at Punto Giovani in Gorizia. Participants will take part in four brief introductory interviews—each lasting five minutes—with four different companies. In a total of 20 minutes, candidates will have the opportunity to present their skills, motivation, and professional interests to all participating employers.

The companies involved include Decathlon, the international sporting goods retailer; Fidema Group, which specializes in the design of complex systems for the naval, civil, and industrial sectors; Ikea, the global home furnishings company; and Videlio Hms, a firm focused on audio-video, IT, and movement technology systems.

Participation is free, subject to availability, but registration is required by February 23, 2026, via the following link:

Selected candidates will receive a confirmation email with practical details ahead of the event.
