Friuli Venezia Giulia’s season of historic train journeys will conclude in December, ending a program of 40 excursions that took travelers across the region in restored 1930s railway carriages. The final five trips — blending commemoration, culinary traditions and holiday festivities — will run through Dec. 8.
Organized by the regional government in partnership with FS Treni Turistici Italiani and supported by PromoTurismoFVG, the initiative promotes local heritage and sustainable travel while offering guided tours, cultural events and excursions.
