The city’s vibrant gardening community will come together on Saturday, July 26, for the latest edition of R-invasati, a daylong event dedicated to horticulture, sustainability, and the joy of shared green spaces. Hosted at the Giardino Pubblico “Muzio de’ Tommasini,” the gathering will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with free admission.
The event, promoted by the local environmental association Bioest, aims to create a space where amateur gardeners, nature lovers, and families can exchange ideas, seeds, plants, and gardening tips. Activities will include flowercrossing, semebaratto (a seed-swapping initiative), and “seminalibro,” a creative fusion of seed and book exchanges.
Visitors can take part in a wide variety of free activities throughout the day, including guided garden tours, hands-on workshops for adults and children, live music performances, and themed readings focused on water and the environment, curated by the Italian Women’s Centre (CIF).
Where: Giardino Pubblico “Muzio de’ Tommasini”, Via Giulia 2, Trieste
When: Saturday, July 26, 2025 | 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
