The art of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Brussels: Visual art, fashion, light and music in a multimedia exhibition project from May 14, 2024 to February, 21, 2025

Thanks to the support of the region, the municipality of Trieste, Fondazione CRTrieste and the Association Foemina APS of Trieste, and, among the others, the associations Giuliani nel Mondo and Friuli nel Mondo, a double exhibition will be held in Brussels, starting on the 14th of May and proceeding until the beginning of 2025.

The extraordinary works of five women painters from Trieste will be presented at the Institute of Italian Culture and the pieces of five male artists from Friuli will be showed at the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Liaison Office.

In the interviews, the architect Accerboni, creator and curator of the project, and councilor Roberti explain that, through the display of various avant-garde languages and styles, the extraordinary initiative reveals a perfect picture of the artistic richness and diversity of our region.

I define myself as an unconventional expat: I lived in Budapest for five years and I recently moved back to Trieste. Today I look at my homeland with different eyes, I love to (re)discover places of my childhood or to find new spots around the region. Living abroad and traveling around made me an open-minded and tolerant person and my studies in foreign languages and journalism gave me the right amount of creativity and curiosity to never stop exploring.
