Ready to get your hands dirty? Starting tomorrow, Thursday, February 22, budding green thumbs in Trieste will have the opportunity to dive into the world of horticulture and urban gardening. Hosted at the venue in Via San Cilino, 40/2, these courses, organized by the Urbi et Horti group in collaboration with Legambiente Trieste, Bioest, and the Municipality of Trieste, promise to equip participants with the skills to cultivate their own green oasis, whether it’s a sprawling backyard or a cozy balcony.
The aim? To empower aspiring gardeners and environmentally-conscious citizens to engage with the concept of communal green spaces and to learn sustainable gardening practices. And the best part? It’s all free!
The curriculum is designed to cover a range of topics, from basic gardening techniques to the principles of social agriculture. With sessions led by experts in agriculture, botany, and environmental conservation, participants can expect a mix of theoretical insights and hands-on experience.
