Oscar winning Italian director Gabriele Salvatores is shooting a new movie in Trieste, a feature film titled ‘Napoli – New York’.
New York’s locations were all filmed in Trieste, “sometimes it seems more New York than the real city itself. If you look at the Generalli building in Ponterosso from a certain angle, it’s definitely it,” the director told us.
We interviewed one of the main characters played by Pierfrancesco Favino on the contemporary applications of the movie he stars in.
