The exhibition Living Water – Acqua Viva presents a significant selection of photographs by Merav Wegerhoff, an Israeli artist now based in Trieste. Wegerhoff, 55, is a mother, grandmother, therapist, and breathing facilitator whose work explores the intersection of water, memory, and consciousness.
The photographs, taken between 2021 and 2026, capture scenes from Israel’s Lake Tiberias, Germany’s Hanau, and various locations in Trieste. Wegerhoff’s approach links the body, voice, and natural elements, inviting viewers to a contemplative encounter with water, breath, and the human heart.
The exhibition was organized by the “Carlo e Vera Wagner” Museum of the Jewish Community of Trieste, in collaboration with the Trieste branch of ADEI WIZO. Its opening was strategically scheduled between International Women’s Day on March 8 and World Water Day on March 22. The show remains open to the public free of charge through April 15, 2026, during the museum’s regular hours.
