The City of Trieste has announced adjusted opening hours for its civic museums during the Christmas and New Year holiday period in 2025–26.
On Wednesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 31, all civic museums will close early at 2 p.m. The museums will be closed entirely on Thursday, December 25 (Christmas Day), and on Thursday, January 1, 2026 (New Year’s Day).
The city also noted that the museums will be open to the public on Friday, December 26; Friday, January 2; and Tuesday, January 6, 2026, following their regular schedules and standard admission fees. These additional opening days are intended to give residents and visitors more opportunities to visit the collections during the holiday season.
