The “Corte dei Miracoli,” a monthly market specializing in small antiques, modern collectibles, artistic crafts, and vintage memorabilia, returns to Muggia this Sunday, August 10, 2025. Organized by the cultural association Cose di Vecchie Casein collaboration with the Municipality of Muggia, the event takes place on the second Sunday of each month, running from 8 a.m. onwards, with free admission.

Held in Piazza della Repubblica and along Via Roma, the market offers visitors a curated selection of antiques, modern vintage items, handmade crafts, and hobbyist creations. Exhibitors from across the Friuli Venezia Giulia region gather to showcase a variety of objects, including vintage vinyl records, comic books, miniatures, and models, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The market is known for its diverse range of curiosities and small antiques, providing a unique opportunity for visitors to discover one-of-a-kind items — from beer steins and old photographs to antique dolls, gramophones, and collectible toys. Other typical finds include vintage phone cards, miniature figurines, toy cars, and nostalgic memorabilia rescued from private attics and cellars, ready to find new life in the hands of collectors or those with an appreciation for the past.

In addition to antiques and collectibles, the market features a vibrant section dedicated to artistic craftsmanship. Visitors can browse handcrafted items made from glass, ceramics, wrought iron, wood, leather, and textiles. Highlights include painted flowers, traditional lacework, ethnic jewelry, Tiffany-style glasswork, artisanal soaps, fabric paintings, embroidered dolls, and ceramics decorated with maritime motifs inspired by the Gulf of Trieste.

Weather permitting, the next edition of the “Corte dei Miracoli” is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, starting at 8 a.m., continuing this tradition of blending history, art, and local culture in the heart of Muggia.
