The Regional Councillor for Labor, Education, Training, Research, Universities, and Family, Alessia Rosolen, has presented the 2025–2027 update of the Program for the Consolidation and Improvement of Workplace Safety Initiatives to the Regional Government of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The updated program, formally approved by the steering committee of the regional collaboration protocol during its June 30 session, serves as a strategic roadmap to promote a culture of workplace safety and legal compliance throughout the region.

“This update is the result of a collaborative effort involving institutional bodies, trade unions, employers’ associations, training entities, and the education sector,” Rosolen said. “It is organized around several thematic areas, with a particular focus on accident prevention, worker training, and raising awareness among younger generations.”

Among the central components of the revised program is the “Carta di Lorenzo,” a document that carries both symbolic and operational weight. Signed by various regional stakeholders, the charter is intended to reinforce shared commitments to workplace safety standards and education.

The initiative forms part of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s broader agenda to strengthen occupational safety frameworks while integrating long-term educational efforts aimed at fostering a safety-conscious workforce.
