The Barcolana Maxi – Trofeo Portopiccolo, a highlight within Trieste’s famed Barcolana sailing regatta, concluded with the Fiamme Gialle team taking first place this Wednesday afternoon.
Created within the framework of the Barcolana and organized by the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano in collaboration with the Yacht Club Portopiccolo under the authority of the Italian Sailing Federation, the event brings together some of the most impressive sailing vessels on the Adriatic.
Dedicated to boats over 16 meters in length, the Barcolana Maxi combines the glamour of the Portopiccolo destination with a highly competitive racing program. This year’s edition once again showcased the blend of elegance and athleticism that defines the Trieste regatta season, reaffirming the event’s place as a premier competition for large yachts.
