Health authorities in Trieste report one locally acquired dengue fever case in San Giacomo neighborhood bringing the case count to 300 confirmed cases this year across Italy.

Trieste health authorities have implemented vector control measures in San Giacomo with disinfection underway tonight, 18 October, from 8.30 pm and urged the public to take mosquito bite prevention measures.
