Hugo de Ana’s successful production of Puccini‘s favorite runs on 4-6, 8 and 10, and again on 12 March.

Director Hugo de Ana based his production on the original version of Tosca, working on the sketches for the first performance in Rome in 1900. Puccini’s Tosca has become a classic of the Trieste repertoire.

It is conducted by Christopher Franklin and Paolo Longo, with Maria José Siri and Kristina Kolar in the lead role, Mikheil Sheshaberidze and Raffaele Abete as Cavaradossi and Alfredo Daza as Scarpia. For full details see Teatro Verdi’s website.
