A monthly flea market dedicated to antiques, vintage objects, handicrafts and small collectibles will return to the center of Aurisina on Saturday, Aug. 15, as part of a series organized by the cultural association Cose di Vecchie Case with the support of the Municipality of Duino-Aurisina.
The market will open at 8 a.m. in Piazza San Rocco, the recently inaugurated central square of the Carso village. Admission is free.
The event brings together exhibitors from across the region offering a range of antiques, modern collectibles, handmade items and hobby crafts. Organizers say the market, which marked its first anniversary in March, has become a regular monthly fixture, taking place on the third Saturday of each month.
Beyond the merchandise, the market offers visitors a chance to explore Piazza San Rocco, a historic part of Aurisina surrounded by restaurants and other local businesses.
The market will also make a second appearance this weekend during the Festa di San Rocco. On Sunday, Aug. 16, exhibitors will be at the Sokol sports field from 6 p.m. to midnight.
The next edition in Piazza San Rocco is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, beginning at 8 a.m., weather permitting. Admission will again be free.
