The City of Trieste will resume its free guided tours of the historic Porto Vecchio-Porto Vivo waterfront throughout July, offering visitors access to two of the area’s landmark industrial heritage sites: the former Electrical Substation and the Hydrodynamic Power Plant.

The tours are organized under an agreement between the City of Trieste and Italia Nostra APS, a heritage conservation organization, as part of ongoing efforts to promote the cultural and historical significance of the former port district.

Tours begin at 9:30 a.m., with participants meeting at 9:15 a.m. outside the Electrical Substation on Viale Miramare 24/4. Each visit lasts approximately 90 minutes and is scheduled for July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.

Reservations are required at least five days in advance by emailing trieste@italianostra.org. Additional tours for groups of at least five people may be arranged on request. The program will pause during August and resume in September.
