Regional rail service in Friuli Venezia Giulia will be temporarily adjusted on June 30 and July 1 as track maintenance is carried out at Trieste Central station.
According to Trenitalia’s regional division, the work will require timetable changes, train cancellations and replacement bus services on several regional routes connecting Trieste with Venice, Udine, Villa Opicina, Tarvisio and Portogruaro.
Replacement buses may experience longer travel times depending on road traffic. Bicycles will not be permitted on buses, and large animals will not be allowed, with the exception of guide dogs.
Trenitalia said its ticketing and booking systems have been updated to reflect the revised schedules. Passengers can find detailed information at ticket offices and assistance desks, through the Infomobility section of the Trenitalia website, the Trenitalia app, or by contacting the company’s customer service center.
