Visitors still have a few days left to view Mondi Astrali (“Astral Worlds”), a retrospective exhibition of the work of painter and architect Carmelo Nino Trovato. The show, organized by the Municipality of Trieste, is on display through Sunday, August 3, at the Arturo Nathan Hall in Magazzino 26, part of the city’s revitalized Porto Vecchio–Porto Vivo district.

The exhibition is open Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Mondi Astrali brings together a significant body of work from Trovato, a Trieste-born artist known for blending visual art and architectural vision. Central to the exhibition is a recent cycle of paintings created between 2024 and 2025, composed of diptychs and triptychs—20 composite panels in total—exploring metaphysical and otherworldly themes. These are displayed alongside a selection of earlier works, offering a comprehensive view of Trovato’s evolving artistic journey.
