On Wednesday, June 25, under a blazing summer sun, Trieste buzzed with visitors soaking in its coastal charm. Temperatures soared, but that didn’t deter tourists from strolling along the city’s waterfront, exploring the historic piazzas, and seeking refuge in shady cafés. Our port city, known for its blend of Habsburg elegance and Adriatic beauty, proved once again to be a popular summer destination. As locals sipped espresso and tourists snapped photos near Miramare Castle, Trieste offered a picturesque—if sweltering—backdrop for vacationers chasing the Mediterranean sun.
