On Friday, June 20, public transport services in Friuli Venezia Giulia—especially in Trieste—were disrupted due to a national strike organized by the USB union. Despite guaranteed service windows in the morning and early afternoon, delays were reported across the region, including at the Port of Trieste. The strike protested government defense spending, worsening labor conditions, and Italy’s ties with Israel.
