This weekend, the 10th edition of “The Energy of Places – Festival of Wind and Stone” will host “End of the Border,” a multimedia project celebrating cross-border collaboration between Italy and Slovenia. The event will span three parks: Gorizia’s Parco Basaglia, Trieste Adventure Park in Duino Aurisina, and Nova Gorica’s Kromberk Castle Park.
The festival, conceived by artists Manolo Cocho, Guillermo Giampietro, Maria Campitelli, and Fabiola Faidiga, features Land Art, visual art exhibitions, and performances by international artists. The event, part of the broader GO!25 initiative, fosters cooperation between Italy and Slovenia ahead of Gorizia and Nova Gorica’s role as European Capital of Culture in 2025.
Highlights include a cultural art workshop in Gorizia on October 4, a guided tour of Land Art installations in Duino Aurisina on October 5, and the multimedia event “Super Naturans” at Kromberk Castle Park on the evening of October 5.
This festival is a celebration of art, nature, and cross-cultural unity, aiming to transcend borders through creative expression.
