The 26th edition of Triskell, Trieste’s International Festival of Celtic Music and Culture, opened this week in the wooded grounds of the Ferdinandeo, where it will run through June 28.
Over more than two decades, the festival has grown into one of Italy’s best-known celebrations of Celtic culture, attracting international performers, dedicated enthusiasts and an increasing number of visitors curious about its traditions.
The program includes live music, workshops, classes, traditional games and food and wine offerings inspired by Celtic heritage. Organizers have also emphasized environmental sustainability, with the event participating in the Ecoeventi FVG initiative aimed at reducing its environmental impact.
Held under the patronage of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the festival continues to draw audiences with a blend of cultural programming, entertainment and community engagement.
