Italian author Luigi Nacci presented his novel Il tempo dei semplici on April 7, 2026, at Libreria Ubik Galleria del Tergesteo in Trieste.

The event featured a public conversation between Nacci and journalist Martina Vocci.

Il tempo dei semplici centers on the relationship between a son and his elderly parents, set in a peripheral area of Trieste. The narrative explores themes of aging, family memory, and shifting interpersonal dynamics.

Born in Trieste in 1978, Nacci is described by Einaudi as a teacher, journalist, and nature guide. His previous works include essays and poetry, among them I dieci passi dell’addio (2024).
