From March 13 to May 3, the Salone degli Incanti will host “SCART – Il lato bello e utile del rifiuto” (“The Beautiful and Useful Side of Waste”), an exhibition celebrating the artistic potential of recycled materials.

Curated by Maurizio Giani, SCART is a project by the Hera Group promoting sustainability and circular economy through art. Officials at the launch, including Michele Babuder and Fabio Scoccimarro, highlighted its role in raising awareness of responsible waste management.

The exhibition features two main sections: sustainable fashion, with 28 garments made from materials such as discarded gloves, tire inner tubes, and plastic bottles, and Super Robot SCART, six 4.5-meter sculptures crafted from Lamborghini production waste, accompanied by a Lamborghini supercar. Students from Italian art academies collaborated on the installations, while photographs and panels document the creative process.

The opening includes a fashion show with Trieste-born former Miss Italia contestant Susanna Huckstep. Admission is free; hours are Tuesday–Friday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., weekends 10 a.m.–7 p.m., with a 3 p.m. opening on March 13.
