Visitors to the Museo Revoltella can now explore the museum through a new digital experience that brings historical figures to life. The initiative, titled “Follow Us! Pasquale Revoltella and Carlo Scarpa Meta-Human Guides,” uses augmented reality and interactive technology to enhance the traditional museum visit.

Funded through the PR FESR 2021–2027 program, under the A2.2.1 call supporting cultural operators in adopting ICT and augmented reality solutions (DGR 132/2024), the project features digital recreations of Pasquale Revoltella, the 19th-century art patron, and Carlo Scarpa, the renowned 20th-century architect. These meta-human figures serve as virtual guides, providing historical context, anecdotes, and insights into the museum’s collections and spaces.

The main tour is led by the digital figure of Baron Revoltella, who guides visitors through his former residence, sharing stories and hidden details. A touchscreen station allows guests to interact with both Revoltella and Scarpa, posing questions and exploring information in real time. The augmented reality content is delivered via an intuitive web app designed to make the experience immersive and accessible.

The new guided tour is included in the standard museum admission.
