On a foggy Friday morning, we wandered through downtown Trieste to see how locals were easing into the weekend. Despite forecasts calling for steady rain, the mood in the city remained relaxed, with people lingering at cafés. November has stayed unexpectedly warm in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the mild temperatures seemed to soften the grey skies hanging overhead.
