Trieste once again slips into the future as the 25th Trieste Science+Fiction Festival unfolds from October 28 to November 2. Directed by Alan Jones and organized by La Cappella Underground, the festival has become one of Europe’s boldest platforms for visionary cinema. “Science fiction isn’t just escapism,” Jones told us. “It’s where we examine our fears and dreams — and imagine better futures.” With more than 50 world, international, and national premieres, plus directors, writers, and actors arriving from across the globe, Jones promises a week where imagination rules. “Everyone should see it,” he adds. “It expands your universe.”
