The event, titled Trieste, Orthodox Community and the Economy, examined the role of the Orthodox community in the region’s economic landscape.

Speakers included Antonio Paoletti, president of the Camera di Commercio Venezia Giulia; Monsignor Ettore Malnati, a theologian; and Cristina Benussi, professor at the University of Trieste. Journalist Francesco De Filippo served as moderator.

The series aims to foster dialogue on religious publishing and its intersections with culture, society, and the local economy, highlighting the contributions and perspectives of Trieste’s Orthodox community.
